Woah.

I am totally having one of those “Watch out, I’m a totaly clutz today” kind of days…dropping everything..in fact, as I was thinking about writing about this, I knocked over my glass (empty thankfully) onto the floor which brought along my computer charger with it. Ahhhh..hopefully this day won’t continue into my work night!

In other news, my husband (Joel) returned safely from his backwoods camping trip successfully uneaten by bears.  He has some good blisters, bites, and scrapes to show for it, but nothing worse. There is already talk of doing another one in September, but I will believe it when I see it.

We keep rediscovering something in our marriage life together so far.  I’m a grump in the morning, and he’s a grump at night.  It makes for interesting times.  Most of our fights are at night because he is “trying to sleep”, and he says it’s the same thing as if he woke me up in the morning and tried to pick a fight..which I respond to with “No, it’s not the same, because you’re not already asleep at night like I am in the morning”…and on and on. We have figured out that we do fight wayyyyy less now than when we were engaged or dating even. For some it’s the opposite..but I’ll take it the way it is for me!

Right now I’m trying to find a drama to do on our missions trip to Peru in a couple weeks. We’re trying to find a song that we know and that we can learn a drama to, but we need the song in Spanish..any ideas?

Currently listening to Kim Walker sing in my living room..totally awesome. If you haven’t heard of her, you should. The CD we have is Your Love Never Fails, and it is stellar. Check it out!

Getting ready for a graduation party for one of my “cousins”. In my family, I have a “sister”, “brother-in-law”, “nieces”, a “nephew”, an  “aunt”, “uncle”, and “cousins”…these are referred to with ” ” <— those  because they’ve pretty much been with me my whole life but aren’t actually blood family.  I love them.

I’ve figured out that for graduation parties, it’s best to get there pretty much right when they start or soon after becuase that’s when all the best food has just been put out. So, this one starts at 5:30..better get ready to go!

Ok, so I’ve decided to start a blog.  As you may see.  I’m going to use it as a blog mostly of my own musings about life and marriage..you know..all that good stuff   It will mostly probably be lighthearted and such…so for those deep thinkers out there, it may not be very intriguing, but you may get a laugh or two..It’ll just be real. If it’s sad, it’s not cuz I want you to feel bad for me…just life.

So, this weekend my husband is gone out backwoods camping with my brothers and a few of their friends..whenever he leaves I’m usually working a lot, so I don’t even know he’s gone…I’m a waitress, so I work mostly nights..However, back around mid-March I had taken off this weekend for a camping trip that was going to happen with some of our friends..but it got cancelled, and I completely forgot that I had taken it off..woops. But it was actually a blessing because I got hit with a really bad sinus infection/headcold thing and have been holed up in my house for a while now..but am looking forward to getting out tomorrow for a graduation party…woot. Crap..I forgot to buy ant traps at Walmart..

Alright, nothing more to say for now..off to google how to fold a fitted sheet!
